Sammy Rae & The Friends lit up the O2 Academy with pure, technicolour chaos. The joyful kind. A seven-piece band moving like one living organism, swapping instruments, dropping to the floor mid-riff, laughing, shouting, and pulling the entire room into their orbit. Shooting from the pit for the first three songs felt like being dropped straight into the heart of it: bright lights, wild energy, expressive faces, and a band who perform with every inch of themselves. A vibrant, ridiculously fun show to capture.
