Another fantastic night of music at The Louisiana, one of Bristol's most well-loved grassroots venues, known for hosting rising talent across all genres.

Opening the night was Tyler Cryde, the solo endeavour of Tyler Hyde. Her performances are noted for their stripped-back, raw, and intimate nature, featuring tracks that highlight honest folk elements. Accompanied by acoustic guitar and keyboard, her set offered a more personal listening experience.

Bert Ussher followed, an artists whose laid-back and folky indie pop sound draws listeners in. Performing tracks from his 2024 EP, The Longest Swim, his set was sweet and simple, highlighting the gentle yet catchy songwriting.

Rounding out the night was Skydaddy, a project led by Rachid Fakhre and offering a unique fusion of jazz, folk, and alternative influences, characterised by soulful vocals, intricate instrumentals, and dynamic performances. Skydaddy's music creates an immersive experience, blending poetic lyricism with rich, expressive arrangements.
